    Noise from under shifter/armrest area?

When driving the car especially when cool I here a sound like the drive shaft spinning extra rough or a u-joint not aligning properly at about 22-18 mph. Could this just be simply MM and trans mount issues and not lining up right or is there a u-joint issue/failure? Also under hard braking it will do it which makes me think it could just be a mount issue.

Any ideas or thoughts would be great. Thanks in advance.

it's possible that a sagging trans mount would give you that sound, and judging by the locations, it makes complete sense. Another thing to check would be the driveshaft coupler.

Also check all the bolts on the drive shaft. I have had one come off before.

Thanks for the I sight guys! It is weird, once the car warms up some it just doesn't seem to do it. I was wanting to be replacing the mounts soon so maybe when doing headers soon I will just have to bite the bullet and do those too.

If your doing headers always do motor mounts too if you haven't already.
