Question 2005 cts-v cruise control inop in my rx7

Someone must know what the computer needs to see to allow the cruise control to function. I have 12volt power to the clutch pedal position sensor, the extended travel brake pin, and 12 volts to the cruise on pin. I also have the Mazda cruise stalk
Wired for 12 volt input to set-accl and decel-resume. The dbw is working fine, no codes, what am I missing? Help

I would recommend asking this in the 2004 - 2007 General Forum. You will probably not get a reply in here.

I can't help you with the cruise problem, but I would like to see some pictures of your car.

    Re: Cruise control inop

Thanks for the response, but all these issues check out ok. Do you suppose that the computer needs a abs signal of some kind? 0 to 5 volts, 12 volts, or 50 ohms to ground? C.griggs

    Re: Cruise control inop

Thanks, the description and operation is most helpful. You are a great source of technical info and your help is really appreciated. By the way, this conversion in my 3100 lb rx7 convert really accelarates. C.griggs

Another thing, would you have a diagram of the abs schematics? Maybe the 5371 circuit needs to be open or12 volts. Thanks, c.griggs

LS6 in a light car...who would be setting cruise control??

In 20+ years of driving, I can count on 1 hand the number of times I've used cruise control. Too many left lane squatters around here to even use it.

Correct - Site Rules and Regulations has nothing to do with cruise control operation. See post #2 in here - carryover from merged threads.

Moved to the proper CTS-V area.

Not sure if it's been covered but clutch position sensor? I've had occasional issues because of mine.

^^ lol, great point. That's what caused mine to stop working for a short period.
