    Hmmm.... Nervous to spend the money to just take it apart and "hope" it goes well.

    Looking at these pictures... I am nervous that the screen is integrated on the main circuit board in there.

    Does the defect show only on Transmission Temperature or its there on every readout (i.e. oil pressure, oil temp, etc.)?

    It's there all the time, even when the car is off you can see something is wrong with the LCD panel in that spot.
