Harmonic Balancer question
I purchased a 07 CTS-V last weekend and noticed the balancer is shot. After calling around and several searches on the net i could not find any information stating if the balancers are the same for the 04/07 V's. My question is, are the balancers interchangeable between the LS6 and the LS2? Are they the same as a GTO, Corvette, or are they specific to a CTS-V? And if anyone has a part number/brand suggestion for a stock replacement other than GM and ATI?

Re: Harmonic Balancer question
Dominic M, I understand (and can appreciate) that you're seeking DIY advice from owners! I do recommend bringing your V concerns to you're dealer's attention, though, and please feel free to contact me via email at Katie_Lucille@gmexpert.com anytime for further assistance.
