    Trunk release fuse keeps blowing

My trunk open fuse behind the drivers seat (box) keeps blowing out. It blows as soon as I try to replace it. This caused me to lose all my fob functionality and my tpms sensors as well as the ability to unlock the trunk. Only way to unlock the trunk is to pull the emergency release in the trunk (the push button on the drivers door does not work as well). This obviously means I am grounding/shorting out somewhere. Thoughts on where I should look???

Thanks a lot for taking the time to post this, I was searching for these. As soon as it warms up I will be out there looking for it. Meanwhile if anyone else has had a similar issue maybe you can share what you found.

Re: Trunk release fuse keeps blowing

Since the radio reception is clear, both xm/fm/am does that mean that the radio control module is still good, even though the fob and tpms not working? As in does the problem lie in an active short rather than a bad control module since the fuse keeps blowing?
