loud chatter when engine shuts off.....

Car runs perfect but when I shut it off, it sounds like an unwinding chatter coming from the engine just before it completely shuts off. Possibly a bad motor mount?? Anyone else experiencing this problem??

Chatter noise makes me think it's a heavy piece winding down like the flywheel. Now if the car is still shaking you've identified you some bad motor mounts as well.

The car doesnt shake or vibrate, so I guess its just the flywheel. Atleast its considered "normal". Ill get a lightweight one once I replace the clutch.

Car has UMI mounts, they're fine. It's always had a bit of a chatter on shutdown from the flywheel.
