Atlanta Motorsports Park
nice vid. Looked like if you had more time you would have passed the vett too.
This video is supposed to be Rookie at Road America II HPDE. Any help getting both these vid's up is appreciated.
Very cool vid Isaacs, way to eat up those BMWs.
Since I lost my track car, I've been tracking the V. I'm at a crossroads right now where I am trying to decide if I should invest in a few things to make the V more fun on the track, or purchase another track car. It would be a lot easier to own just one car (I drive press cars as my dailies).
Me doing a few laps of the Circuit of the Americas in a CTS-V coupe during a Cadillac V-Series Driving Lab two Fridays ago.
The track is pretty frickin' awesome. Great mix of speed and technical bits. The tight sections that looked awkward in the F1 cars didn't feel that awkward at all in a street car.
Well I don't have one in my Cadillac yet buuuut... Here is one in my last car a 2010 Cobalt SS. Kinda long, been too lazy to edit it mute it cuz all you hear is wind noise. Passed quite a few 'faster' cars and had one hell of a day. The D3 guys were out there but one of their cars broke a supercharger pulley or something. It's at Fontana in CA on the ROVAL setup where you get after it on part of the NASCAR circuit. I'll break out the V when I get a chance.
Fast forward to 2:10 on it. This was my second session so all the cars were arranged by lap times. There are some other videos on my youtube account session one has some more passing in it.
looks like a fun and fast track.
Well here is a short video of a little track day near my house. They do short sessions and stuff to get everyone through on the small tracks but its fun cuz its so close and cheap.
After the track day was over I decided the V really need new tires at least because traction was not good at all. And apart from that I think the car did phenomenal for how big it is.
