    Check engine light - P0171

    So I have had the car for about 2 months and the check engine light came on last night after some hard acceleration. Went to Autozone and got them to check the code - it is a P0171 - Fuel trim bank one - said "Too Lean".

    The car is an 07 V and everything else seems to be running fine. I am not positive about this but I think the warranty would have just ran out?? Anyone have any ideas or seen this before?

    Thanks Darkman! The check engine light actually went away now so I am assuming this isn't something to worry too much about..

    I would not worry about it - it may have been some condensation in the fuel, or an intermittent electric connection.
