    WTK: When I hit the Navigation button I get a message that says

    "Map/DVD Rom has not been loaded". What is the best way to remedy this. Do I need a new map disc? If so where is the best place to buy one? Thanks in advance.

    Mine does this from time to time. I usually can eject the disk, and reload and it comes back, but not always. I'm guessing the actual drive is heading south.

    My problem is that I do not have a disc. One of the previous owners lost it. Any idea if there is a better place and price than purchasing from Cadillac retail? Thanks again.

    You can contact GM Navigation Support at 1-877-NAV-DISC. They may be able to diagnose this issue for your and order you a new disc. Let me know if you have any further questions.

    I called them yesterday and have been put on a waiting list. I was told the discs are currently out of stock, but are expected around the 17th. This will be the 2009 version. With this nav system, do I have to leave the disc in the system for it to work? Also, will the upgraded disc work if there has never been a disc in the system? Thanks again.
