RPMs dropping, idling problems, Car wants to stall
Need you help guys, My 05 V lately hasn't been running good. When I am driving and I come to a stop or backing out of the driveway, or even right after I start it, The car acts like it is going to stall. I have to gas it a couple times or it feels like the car will shut down. I took the K&N off and looked at the throttlebody and it looked dirty to me, is this normal? see pictures below. any ideas what the problem could be? Thank you in advanced for your help!

First thing's I would check are my plugs and wires. That' usually the biggest culprit of them all.

Good call, didn't think of that, is there a way to tell if the wires are bad?

Re: RPMs dropping, idling problems, Car wants to stall
if they havent been changed in 60K+ miles then yes I would call them bad. Plugs are a must; but you can tell if they are bad just by looking at them really
if that doesnt work, then I guess a longshot could be fuel rails, injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter. But I'd start with the most least expensive being plugs and wires.
If they havent been changed; your gonna have to do it soon anyways
NGK TR55's I think they are (someone will correct me if i'm wrong) and MSD wires

You can check the spark plug wires with an OHM meter. They should show between 397 and 1,484 ohms.
In your case I would first clean the wires in the MAF with some CRC MAF cleaner, since the K&N (or any oil/ gauze filter) is notorious for fouling the MAF sensor wires.
