    Re: Oldest V Owner?

I saw a Volt on the A5 yesterday with a Ginsheim-Gustavsberg registration (commonly seen on Opel's that belong to the factory located in Ruesselsheim). I gave him a puzzled look as I drove past, and he gave the V an equally perplexed look.

Don't know what Volt's are doing running around Europe...but I've seen two so far. They should be Opel Ampera's (seen three of those, now).

I wonder if maybe Opel couldn't get their German specs quick enough and GM made some Volts w/German Specs to fix the demand during the delay?

That would help to explain the supply problems State-side. Possibly meant to rile up the Bimmer/MB/VW crowd, too?

I got to drive one of the new ones at the GM test ride thing at Laguna Seca. Pretty impressive and pretty comparable to a maggied V but the mag ride was awfully impressive. But if I bought one I would have to track it too.

would be interesting to know how many of legacy people still have their car.
My Dad drove the V2 at Laguna Seca also. Pretty good for the oldest V owner!
