    taking a 99K V on a 4K road trip to the Tetons

Taking Dad to the Badlands, Yellowstone, and Jackson Hole, and Boulder. Jackson Hole for the most part. The car is road worthy and looking forward to a mountain pass flogging. Wont be the first, nor the last. Been there before with RWD and in later sept, so I know what I am potentialy up against. Last time I camped with -60* wc factors and daytime snow that would sink a ruler. Hope to finally post some picks. Taking the beast to FLA in Oct on another 4K road trip (unless my wife has her way).

Cool, I've always had higher mileage cars, so 99K isn't much, but good luck with the slippery conditions!

At 99k and properly maintained, your V is still in its youth.

    Enjoy the trip!

That's how I broke in my V in '04. A cross country, 25 state/province trip covering 10,000 miles. The Tetons were in there. The V was fine with 3 people and 3+ weeks of luggage going up and down Beartooth Pass leading into Yellowstone...
