    Sold the V

After swapping in the H&Rs, wife and kids still hated the ride in the V. Add in the need for new tires, a new clutch, resonators to quiet the exhaust, as well as issues with my steering shaft rubbing my B&Bs and a 6th gear vibration, I am now V-less. I ended up trading it in at an indy dealer and getting 21K for it and picked up a modded 04 E55 (supposedly with around 500rwhp).

Enjoy your cars, gentlemen. I know I enjoyed the 7K miles I drove in my 3 years of ownership.

    Re: Sold the V

No pics right now, but it's a plain looking black on black E55K on the standard 18" split 5 spoke wheels. I pretty much jumped at the chance after looking under the hood and seeing long tubes, heat exchanger and a pulley.

The E55 is a monster tuned! Good luck with it. And post some pictures when you take 'em...

    Re: Sold the V

Anyone in the market for a Superchips 2724CV tuner for a CTS-V? It is clean and not registered to a VIN. I also have 2 Mobil1 oil filters I don't need anymore.

Wife and kids hated the ride? That's what the wife's car is for. Both my kids can't wait to ride in the V ..I bought my V because of the extra rear space for kid seats. Usually take the family SUV (97X) when its all 4 of us, though.

Just curious, what's the going price for E55?

My V on T2 Sachs shocks and 650/700 springs rode beautifully. Time to get your kids recalibrated...

The E55 cost me my car and 3K. This will hold me over until the price of the V2 is at a level that will entice me. Because of that, my name stays because I want a CTS-V, but a V2 this time.
