    ctsv ac issues..

i had a problem with a radiator hose awhile ago.. had a pinhole that i missed and couldnt find.. bought new radiator finally found the hose and replaced that... but somehow in the process my ac isnt working... not sure it happened during this issue but it seems to make sense... it blows hot air all the time... and it clicks behind the dash... not sure if i left something off for the ac.. or the overheating had ruined my thermostat.. or if the thermostat would have anything to do with ac.. taking the radiator out again today to look if i forgot to hook up anything.. but anyone have any clue what my issue could be... its freakin hot out and ac would be something nice to have ahaha

See this thread for AC service information:

You may have pulled loose wire/connectors for the AC clutch and/or compressor.

If you have the radiator out it is a good time to replace the AC belt.

still haveant figured it out... theres a clicking coming from behind the dash right behind the dvd player... had it all apart cant really get to it... i can see from each side looks like there is a black plastic case around all of the ac stuff... but i'm almost sure the clicking is coming from there... anyone know what it could be.. or what is even behind all the plastic??

Clicking is usually the signature of a solenoid device. One of the PDFs attached above identifies several sensors and actuators that appear to be the area of the interior that you are talking about.

    DTC P1258
    Circuit Description
The engine control module (ECM) uses the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor to monitor the engine for an over temperature condition. This condition occurs when the coolant temperature is above 131°C (268°F) . When an over temperature condition is present, DTC P1258 will set. The ECM will disable 2 groups of 4 cylinders by turning OFF the fuel injectors. By switching between the 2 groups of cylinders, the ECM is able to reduce the temperature of the coolant.

The remedies include making sure the engine fans are operative and then the checking the other routine causes of engine overheating such as low coolant, water pump, etc.
