New Redline V owner
Hey everyone I just purchased a 2005 cts-v Redline with tan interior. The car was a 2 owner with all service and maintenance records. The car is 100% bone stock, just the way I wanted it. I hit 37,000 miles on the drive home. When I stop driving the darn thing I'll get around to posting some pictures. I absolutely love this car even more than I thought I would. This car has been on my checklist for some time now. When I walk into the garage I still cant believe it's mine. This is an early graduation present to myself. I will graduate college with a degree in Civil Engineering Technology. I am only 22 years old and I am very grateful for this car I have purchased on my own without help from mom and dad. I have been creeping on this board for over a year trying to learn as much as I can about these awesome cars. I will start getting on here and commenting more now that I'm an official V owner.
I'm in the Atlanta, GA area so if any members are near by feel free to hit me up and we can hang out.
I noticed after the 300 mile drive home both air bag cover/panels behind the rear seats coming from the deck lid to the roof have popped loose at the roof. I pulled the panel away some so i could see behind it. There is a clip or bracket on the back side of the SRS symbol on the panel. It appears this piece should pop off and bolt back onto the car. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to fix this problem or point me in the direction of a thread on here or the faqs forums?

Never had a problem with them myself, but does this help? http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...ail-panel.html
Your comment, "When I walk into the garage I still can't believe it's mine." sums up the way most of the rest of us feel, too.
