[QUOTE=cincyenginerd; Saw an Evolution Green V2 coupe with gunmetal rims/yellow calipers in the lot, not sure whose it was, but it looked phenomenal.[/QUOTE]

Evo G coupe was mine, (George aka TORXILA), looks even better when cleaned up. The car is 1 of 1 color with that RB9 Satin Graphite wheels with yellow brembos. A lot of GM people helped make it happen. I'm getting lots of thumbs up.
    Thanks
    George

Dumb question: How do you post up the video instead of just the link?

No probs, Randy. We understand the first thing to go when the grey hair shows up is the memory. )

A shortie from the road course.

FYI, the bandaid on the bumper is there for the paint chip knocked off by some dunba**'s box tops flying off his truck in ATL on the way up.

    Amen.

Nice pics, btw. Love that short little vid, too. Waterford Hills is a tight little track for our cars. I remember guys talking about going there 50 years ago. Been there a long time.

Re: 2011 Woodward Dream Cruise - August 20th

The folks at Waterford were great and we got a helluva deal on the place for the day which included emergency and track folks so we could concentrate on having fun. The track is fairly small. Only one I've ever run where you could climb the tower and see the whole track. Ran the track in 3rd gear hitting 6K rpm at the 100' braking mark on the straight. Without gear changes it sure is easier to concentrate on placement. VERY late apexes. Every single one. There is a hill on the front side that was really a hoot. Was catching air regularly all afternoon. All my ride-along passengers loved it.

Here's some more stuff to waste time watching:

the cruise-in on Woodward was incredible. One of EVERY car EVER made and some you never dreamed of. Complete automotive sensory overload.

A little walk around video of our parking area on Woodward. The local club set us up with a great place to park AND BBQ!

Burnouts in the street that was in front of our parking area. We (with help from some others that just got in the "burn out line") really left some marks behind.

Yep. Amazes me every time I experience it, too. Hell, four of us started an SS "anti-club" (no officers, run by the members) on a lark a few years ago and it has turned into a national group with 14 chapters so far and still growing. There are quite a few of these cars still running around in spite of the cars for cash fiasco.
