Specmo will often be able to figure out your part number from your year/make/model (especially on a car like a CTS-V)
but if they claim they can't you can call up your local dealer's parts dept. and have them look in their parts catalog using your VIN
or you can ask your dealer's service advisers if they will scan your radio with a TECH2 to get the part number
(some dealers will want to charge you for this even though it only takes a couple minutes)

I am sorry to do this (revive such an old post), but....

Is Luke Butler still at Lindsay Cadillac, and if he is, does anyone know if he can still get the replacement buttons - I need them all (knobs, buttons, even the sunroof knob). Mine are now basically white buttons with no plastic.

    Thanks and Sorry again
    Roger

Yes, Luke is still at Lindsay. I don't know if the buttons are still available.

I think it was about six months ago that I read that G.M. wasn't selling the buttons individually any more. Now you need to send the whole unit to the authorized service center for them to replace the buttons.

I was having some buttons machined up, you want some? They won't do any less than a run of ten (sets).

I would be interested in purchasing some buttons if you were going to have some machined, just let me know how much. The volume and tuning knobs can be purchased on Rockauto for $4.97 ACDELCO part #12229132. I contacted Luke several months ago and he confirmed that the buttons were no longer available for purchase.
