    Long Beach Grand Prix

I went to Long Beach both days this year. First time I’ve done that in about 10 years. I have been boycotting the Indy Car races since Champ Car went into the tank, but I thought I’d give it a try since the Caddy’s were running the last race of the weekend. The Indy Car race was very entertaining, let’s hope GM puts in a good showing next year.

As for the Caddy’s… They sound thunderous like the ALMS Corvettes and they seem to get off the corners very well. But as compared to the other cars they don’t look quite as nimble and they don’t look very good in the braking zones. I remember that the 04 Sedan was a demon on the brakes. If I had to sum it up… The coupe has a fat ass. Hopefully they’ll get that sorted out during this season.

Watch the race. I was very entertaining live.

Yep they definitely need to lose some weight. Hopefully by next round they will make some changes. Andy mentioned that they adjusted them so they were mid pack so they didn't run away with it, and thats right about where they seem to run.

As far as the braking, since StopTech is a title sponsor I'm pretty sure they use a package from them, whereas the V1's used a Brembo kit...

Good to hear that mid pack is where they were targeting. Looking forward to seeing them charging to the front later in the season. It was a good race, Brandon Davis looked good in his car. It was screaming.

All in all a very fun weekend.
