    Finally got a V...

My search began in November for a low mile '06 or '07 and I finally found the one. It's a Light Platinum '07 with 27k miles, took a peek at the original window sticker that the previous owner handed over with the car - looks like it has the FG2 shocks. It says "Performance Shock Package - $1,260" so that's it, right?

This was the first week of driving the car and it is everything I hoped it would be. Almost as fast as my Mustang Cobra but comfortable and convenient. Love it.

    Congratulations man,
yeah it was an awesome car to get used to.

You drop $5,000 into the car, and it'll be a lot faster than your mustang cobra and outhandle it like crazy

congrats. def an upgrade in comfort and rarity. but lol

i dunno about the whole being almost as fast as a cobra tho. stock v stock.. ++ with a 2.8 pulley and tune those things make ~480whp.. you need to throw a 5-7k maggie kit on top of a LS6/2 to get to that range.. ahh the beauty of OEM FI

    Re: Finally got a V...

Haha Thanks, guys. I love the color, Houdini... in fact, it was the only color I was open to. Since the Cobra is black, it's SO hard to keep clean, so I've learned my lesson. Plus, the V is unfortunately my daily driver so it'll have to see some rain.

Yeah the Cobra is pretty fast as it is with the intake + full exhaust. I really can't wait to pulley it but will probably wait until next year after looking at my total insurance premiums!

I'd love to post some pics for you guys soon.

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys. I agree - very different cars, each has it's purpose. Nice to know I'm not alone, JD03Cobra.

Finally got some pics for you. Hope these work. Sorry, it just happened to be parked next to the Cobra!
