Sorry, I meant to say in-car video cam...When you guys hit the ring together it would be nice to see your video with clips edited in from his.. That is, if they'll even let 2 cars go at the same time..

Regarding regular cameras, you can get a dslr very cheap these days. Stay with canon, they are lightweight and take great pics. Don't get hung up on megapixels either, the 3-4 yr old models with 8-12mp are great, something like an Xsi model. You could find that one for 350 or so and it's plenty of camera until you get really serious. Lenses are what cost money...

Point and shoots are convenient and do take good pics so they still have their place, but it's pointless filling all those megapixels with the small amount of light coming through that small lens.

Two cars on the ring isn't a problem...the track is run open, there might be 100+ cars on there at a time.

But, cameras are verboten, so unless you find a creative way to hide it in your car, you won't be filming on the track.

Thanks for all the camera inputs....I've had the same advice on several occasions.....I'll probably pull the trigger on the camera tomorrow.....hoping the BX has it in stock.

    Also....the more I study/learn about cameras....you are spot-on about the lens.....thanks again......

There is a Car Show on Kapaun Air Base (Vogelweh) this Sat from 1000 to 1800 if anyone is intersted in going.

I plan on just crusing through as of now.....I guess last year they had about 300 cars there.....

    Here's the info:

"The event includes 8 categories (13 cups) for all classes, including "Best in Show" and "Best Entertainment"

Bouncy Castles and other entertainment will be provided for children.
Sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs and funnel cakes will also be available to keep you full.

The Entrance fee for spectators is $2 per person, $5 Family Special

Entrance is in the Harderwald 15, 67661 Kaiserslautern"

What's up Met! I was in your part of the World the past few weeks (Italy, Paris, and London...not with my V of course). I hope that you're enjoying the German roads!
