Not at all. I've read many, many of your posts, and "thick" is never a term that's come to mind. Rock on, my friend.

If you don't need hd, the quality of spy cams has gotten very, very good, and you can tuck them away just about anywhere.

Install them in your front bumper and make them look like a radar parking sensor...

I just heard the same thing about the cameras on the 'Ring....

it is a pretty interesting idea, but the 'spy' cameras are so small and cheap these days that it should be no problem getting footage of your ring laps

Re: The Ring and Amsterdam w/ LOTS OF PICS!!!!

I have a Contour HD camera for snow skiing, with the available suction cup mount for it or the Go Pro HD it seems it would be easy enough to pop it out of the glovebox or from under the seat and stick it to the windshield as soon as you hit the 'ring, I can't imagine they'd be able to do much about it then as long as you took it down when you got to the end...

The Contour HD shoots 1080p wide-angle and is about the size of 1.5 "C" cell batteries end-to-end. Excluding however you mount it its completely self-contained and can be concealed quite well...

My buddy's Go Pro is similar and its about the size of a pack of cigarettes with equally awesome video quality.
