I painted mine with 3 coats of Duplicolor caliper paint, which is available at most major autopart stores, comes in the basic colors (silver, black, red, blue, etc.), in either brush or aresol can. I used the spray stuff. I masked the rotors brake surface in newspaper and masking tape.

The Duplicolor silver caliper paint is a prefect match for the OEM rotor color that came on my platinum (silver) V, which blends well with the stock wheel color.

I have yet to use it, but I purchased a spray can of factory-color gray brake drum/rotor paint from www.Eastwood.com .
Here's the link to what I purchased:
    http://www.eastwood.com/ew-brake-gra...sol-13-oz.html

Eastwood is the company that sells products specifically for restoration purposes.

Once the weather cools off a bit, I plan on cleaning up my rotors.

Why aren't the hats E-coated? Or are they, and it just sucks at protection?
