CV Joint Gave Up The Ghost

The inner driver side CV joint destroyed itself this week and left me stranded. I have been searching and have had no luck find a replacement. Does anyone know if the passenger inner is the same as the drivers side inner? I appreciate any info.

I believe they are the same, there is no reason they would be directional. (you could always pull the drivers side too,and check it out.)

Out of curiosity what axle shafts are you running?

I have the Hendrix axle in the driver side. The driver side is the joint the came apart and there is no way to compare my broken one to the passenger side one. I have had no luck finding a driver side axle assemble but have found quite a few passenger side units. If the inner joint is the same from side to side I was going to use one of the units I have found.

Can you post up some pictures of the broken joint?

How long have you been running the axle?

From when i put in my DSS axles, they looked the same, i did not take any measurements, but if you order a passenger side axle, you can always compare the inner cv's and make sure they look the same before installing them.

Where were you looking and finding the passenger side axles?
