I really appreciate the moral support guys.

I don't mean to sound mysterious about it either.

I had to have my buddy, an Amazon parrot that had been with me for 22 years, put down on Saturday.

He had been with me through the thick and thin of almost half of my life and the big ? my kids always joked about was who was gonna inherit the bird (they live to be 80 or longer)

I was his "chosen one" and was the only person he would let handle him.

It sucks losing a member of the family and it is a real heart breaker to see them suffer.

I've heard that about those parrots ... choosing one person, that is, and living so long, too.

Dang, heavy, sorry to hear. Might be too early, but have you considered getting another one yet?

Sorry to hear that. Most people just don't understand, but they really do become a member of the family. Put one of my dogs down March 2. Even though he was old, and I thought I was prepared, it wasn't easy. I couldn't imagine how I'd take it if he'd passed before his time.

Good luck with everything,,,,,except for selling the V

I have been offered the pick from a brood of African Grays that just hatched.

I am considering it at the moment.

    I probably will.

Geez, 23K for that many mods! The resale tank just took another drop today gents. My V should be worth a cool 15K now

    23k miles.

    Minimum bid of $30k.

As my mood is getting better, the impetus to sell is waning.

    Re: My 05 for sale

I didnt think you would ever sell. You don't strike me as a V2 kind of guy.
sorry about the parrot. That's one of the reasons I don't want a pet.

Take it from me though. Keep the V and the Z. Until you are set on something else FIRST, don't sell them.

The parrot thing is sad indeed - my condolences. But the canvas isn't finished yet.

I really appreciate the feedback, and even from my buddies who have called me to see if I am kidding or stupid.

I had a small hand in the building of this car and know the kind of work that went into it. The day after it's gone you will regret it.
