New to the board. Not new to Cadillac. Just traded my supercharged EXT for a CTS-V. Great little car for an everyday driver. Done most of the small mods. Waiting on Vortech supercharger (approx. 4 weeks). While I have owned many moded sportscars, I currently own a spercharged Viper GTS making 925 RWHP and 900 RWTQ. All work was performed by Underground Racing Inc. Located in Charlotte, NC. They specialize in Vipers but they work on all makes and models (vettes, stangs, ricers etc.). They will be doing all the mods on my CTS-V and I will keep the board posted with pictures and dyno results. The website (where you can see my Viper run a 9.75 with a supercharger only, no internals) is http://www.undergroundracing.com. Kevin Howeth is the shop owner, his number is 704 361 3443, tell him Matt sent you.

Re: Need a tuner? Try Underground Racing Inc.

Welcome to the board Matt! Why did you decide on the Vortech, vs say a Magnacharger?

You gonna give us a few words about what it's like driving a 925 rwhp car?? Are 1st and 2nd gears usable at all??

Talking Re: Need a tuner? Try Underground Racing Inc.

I am sure the Magna is a great charger but I have always had Paxton/Vortech and never had a days problems and that is going back to my high school days with my Mustang LX coupe. Plus Kevin and Underground Racing are well versed with Vortech. My climb up the HP ladder has been steady. Before I had the Viper I was fortunate enough to own a Mustang Saleen S-351. I had it making 575 RWHP before I sold it for the Viper. The 925 RWHP while insane is actually still very streetable. I do not drive the car much to be honest. It only has 4000 miles and is a '96. Kevin takes it to Viper National races, where last month it won 1st place. 1st and 2nd gears are basically obsolete, along with 3rd and 4th , to answer your question. I will keep you posted on my CTS-V gains. Matt

You mentioned you'd done all the small mods. What have you done so far?

Re: Need a tuner? Try Underground Racing Inc.

B&B exhaust, Moore air box, BMR wheel hop kit. I am sure I missed some but I mainly wanted it to breath a little better and sound like a real V-8. I will be selling the air box when the Vortech arrives Probably will not do headers nor internals as this will be my daily driver. Just wanted to give it a little extra kick. Matt
