    I hit my trunk release once when driving. When I stopped, I just put it in reverse, then slammed on the brakes. trunk closed.

    My trunk popper button won't work unless the parking brake is set while it is running or the car is off. Odd how you could pop it while in motion.

    My nephew went into my trunk, lid came down on his head, latch caught him, 4 stitches.

    I didnt read all the post except for the first one.. But I had the same deal happen to me one morning at 6:30 am in the steak and shake parking lot where we all met to roll out to a car show. There were like 30 cars or so, I open my truck to get my rag out to wipe the wheels and BAMMM!!!! corner of the trunk busted my head open, had blood running down my face and all over the place. Lets just say that was not a way to start off the morning before the car show!!

    should the trunk raise up when popped if the struts are working properly? Mine barely pops, it's hard to tell it is open vs still closed.
