This only occurs in the state of Texas will all cities selected. Since we live in Texas it is a big issue. When we attempt to list the streets in Texas beginning with the letter "C" we get no data found. I can not believe that in the whole state of Texas there are no streets beginning with the letter "C". Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue. We are currently using nav disc version 8.0 gm part #09320NA |

I know there's a firmware update for the Nav, ask the dealership if they have it, you're probably still under warranty. Make sure to specify you don't want the maps dvd, but the yellow disc firmware update. I had to repeat it at least 5 times to 3 differents employees. |

If I need a firmware update, is there anyway I can download this online? I can burn it to DVD if necessary. |

Let us know if you find a fix. I'm out of warranty and hate to think what the stealership will want to look into this problem. |

The disc can't be copied as it has hidden tracks.

I don't think you need the update because you're not stuck in MI. But if you're in the DFW area I currently have one of this sites loaner discs you can try. |

I've only tried Flower Mound and Lewisville and there are no 'C' streets found.
Stars Fan,
Depending on what info ljhale gets back from the dealer, I'd be interested in borrowing that disc as well. Maybe if we end up doing a meet here sometime, you can just bring it and we can update them all in a row before you send it on it's way to the next person.
Thanks,

I live out in Wylie and you're welcome to come by and use the upgrade disc. |

I also requested that they contact me because I'm not the only one with a problem. |

They have not ever heard of a firmware disc. I'm not surprised. They contacted technical assistance and never got a real answer. They gave me the number and told me to call with the case number that was generated for my problem. I called and was told that they never heard of the problem. After much discussion and being transferred several times, I finally was told that they would look into it and get back to me. Later in the afternoon, Technical Assistance called me back and said they would send me a 2010 Nav Disc when they were available in approximately 2 weeks. I really don't think this will fix the problem since I've had the same problem with the last two versions. We will see.
If anyone has the firmware disc, let me know and please send me the GM part number of the disc. Also, let me know if this fixes the problem |

Seems like they won't have an idea of when the 2010 disc will be available but she did say she would call me back on 10/30. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
