Anyone try the Nittos or the Kumhos?
The Kumho is great on a Vette, I dunno about the Caddy size.
I doubt I'm going to switch brands, the PS2's are a tough act to follow, but some input would be great!

I'm going with Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec's in the spring. |

Your car has mods, you switched from the F1's and you like the Nittos. Are they anywhere near as good in the corners as the F1's? The F1 is a great tire, but EXPeNSIVE!
I had a set of Direzza's, so bad I took them off and got a credit from Goodyear. Went to GSD3 (using he credit), they were very good but the PS2's are superior.
I don't track, but I do push the car in the corners so I don't want anything second rate.
This is good stuff.
Thanks |

There's a good read.
The Direzza's I had on my car were not the Z1 sport star spec. |

Benchmark: Michelin Pilot Sport PS2
Ninth: Ling Long L688
Eighth: Nitto Invo
Seventh: Falken Azenis RT-615
Sixth: Yokohama S.Drive
Fifth: BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW
Fourth: Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport
Third: Kumho Ecsta XS
Second: Hankook Ventus V12 Evo
First: Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec
After reading the review, I'm looking at first and second place, the Hankook is a about $100 less for a set and weigh 2lbs less per tire so that's a plus.
Anyone have any real world input on which has a longer tread life?
My F1's were stone bald on all 4 corners at 7,400 miles, I don't want that again! |

(On the wife's minvan, but that's not mine).
Do the BFG's lose air pressure? I've had plenty of sets of those on other cars, but they always lost pressure (and had a super short life span). |

I'm thinking about making the jump to the NT05 in 275 width though, but that will probably wait till spring. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
