Well, I went to the dealership to try and get them to acknowledge my transmission issues (popping out of second gear on a 3-2 downshift)... AGAIN. This time it couldn't be the motor mount, tranny mount, rear cradle bushings, shifter or any other peripherals. Luckilly there was a GM service rep on site and he took the tech and my car for a test drive.
I was hoping they would figure out that the synchros were shot and do a rebuild but when they returned, he said it needs a new transmission!

And not only that, there is a whine in the rear end that needs to be addressed. (JOY)
Of course we all know that the transmissions for these cars are backordered and will be delivered by flying pigs on 12/21/2012 but when they get here I am getting one! I am still driving the car and they are keeping the work order open until it gets here.
Here's the kicker: I own a CPO car with 100k warranty. I took this picture as I left the dealership.
