Discovered ultra rare mod on my used V - anyone else ever see this? This past week I pulled my front end apart to swap out the high beam bulbs and to get my grilles powdercoated black. In the process of pulling the headlights off I learned that the previous owner had done an unusual and rare mod to the car. (I've had the car just over 2 years, and based on a couple of indications the car had some sort of front end damage before I bought it.)
I started to pull the passenger side headlight and I could hear this kind of weird noise - something krinkling behind the headlight. Can't see anything unusual yet...

Pulled the headlight out and what do I find but...

Yup, that's right, some lazy-ass ****ing shop monkey's empty 8oz water bottle!!! You could very clearly hear the thing being crushed and/or expanding as you moved the headlight in or out of it's proper location, so there's no way one could install the headlight without realizing something wasn't right. Unreal.

That was there to stop the vibration noise.

Along the same line, I was doing a bathroom remodel recently and found pretty much the same thing wedged inbetween the ceiling fan vent.
I don't get the joke, but I am sure that the guy who left it thought he was funny.

back when I worked at Subway, one of our youthful indiscretions was throwing a pickle slice up on the wall in the back hallway. Seemed funny at the time (though I don't remember why)
I went back there 3-4 years later, and the pickle was still up on the wall. Painted over.

That is some serious middle school bullshit!!! Like the time we stole all the teacher's pens and threw them into the ceiling tiles. If you chucked them just right they would get stuck in the tiles.

Now you'll be faster on the track.
"The SR71, this is what an airplane is supposed to be. She's ugly on the ground, leaks like a sieve, but up around Mach 1, the seals all expand, she dries up, leans into the wind and flies like a bat out of hell. I took her right to the limit, 128,000 feet." -Tommy Lee Jones aka Hawk Hawkins in Space Cowboys. Reminds me of a certain car, minus the ugly part.

When I pulled my airbox out a while back to do the K&N there were a couple HUGE walnuts under there, no clue how they managed to get in.
