Higher Viscosity Differential Fluid-Which One?

I know there've been discussions on Amsoil, Royal Purple, etc. high-viscosity diff fluids on the Forum before, but darned if I can find them after several search attempts....including cadillacfaq.com.

Soooo...who's had experience with with these and what were the results? I'm 20k miles into my latest (4th--40k on car) diff and it's starting to whine a bit. GM, of course, says it's normal. Any suggestions for a good hi-visc synthetic?

I still use the regular viscosity GM fluid, but if I wanted to go with a higher viscosity fluid I would look at Amsoil (Severe Gear) and perhaps Redline, but no others. When I buy Amsoil products I go through C66 Racing (an authorized vendor supporting this forum).

Thanks, Darkman. I'll contact C66 for Amsoil info. I was hoping to find something available locally, but that's probably too much to expect when the largest close town only has a pop. of 21,000.
