My trap speed already translates to mid 12's if the car could get traction. I honestly think that with no wheelhop and a 125whp/150wtq boost from the nitrous I could get low 12's.

On street tires I don't think I could break 12's. I could throw enough juice at it to get the power needed, but I would just end up in a wall.

Re: Diff Rebuild -- Is it worth it?

Not to hijack my thread or anything, but, Ted, could you figure out a way to meter the juice just so's to get optimal traction for lowest ET? Now, THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!

Progressive nitrous controller, but I don't spray off the line anyway. I spray from 3000-6100RPM in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gears. I could dribble feed it with my nitrous controller in first if I wanted, but I'm in 1st gear for such a short amount of time it wouldnt be worth it.

Re: Diff Rebuild -- Is it worth it?

A lot of guys spray it right off the line and through every shift, its like an instantly spooling turbo that doesn't end until you tell it to!

Re: Diff Rebuild -- Is it worth it?

I remember bcholka telling me when he was spraying in first, he just smoked them all the way to red line. Mind you, he had a maggie.

He also had a KARS. Despite all that, he still managed to get his diff replaced under warranty.

Spraying? In first gear? With a maggie? And got his diff replaced?

Well, if I dare UN-jack my own thread () -- not that I mind, you understand -- I got another vid with audio of my diff noise today. I'll probably get it posted up tomorrow mid morning sometime. Horrible sound in fourth gear at about a steady 27 MPH. Hopin' that ewill chimes in on this vid or indeed anyone else who can pinpoint this sucker.

Re: Diff Rebuild -- Is it worth it?

i am pretty sure he only sprayed in 1st the one time

After that I think he started spraying in second. We were all betting his diff would not get replaced under warranty. But somehow, the gods smiled on him.

Don't worry I am still watching this one.
I'll watch it but remember I can't see youtube at work
We are websensed....
I don't mind, we have people that really beat up our bandwidth with the dumbest crap you have ever seen, they wait and wait for websense to go down and then run with it.
