It does not support XM radio traffic, but my car doesn't have it anyway.
I don't know what the latest and greatest from Cadillac is, but typically they were a year behind the Zenrin release.

I doubt that.
What is your issue? |

The more I use my Nav the more I hate it. When I first bought the car I thought the nav was cool and it worked fine for those searches. Then I thought "some these guys on the forum just don't know how to use it." Well, from personal experience and many times using it over the year I have come to the conclusion that it truly sucks! (No shock to anyone here.) I have searched for some POI's directly and nothing shows up. Then I do brute force searching using other methods provided by the Nav and the POI that I was initially looking for finally shows up. And, it is spelled the same or in the town name that I was intially searching on. Many times I just use my Garmin and eliminate the frustration. |

I have an AVIC N4 in Mr. Vette and just the touch screen alone blows away the POS in the V.
But then, the V is obsolete and a big thank you to GM and the IDIOTS who decided that you can't swap the doggone nav/radio out without losing driving functions.
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense (NOT). |

Well, since Cad gets their map stuff from Zenrin, no big suprise that they both crap out.
What does Texas have against the letter "C"? |

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense (NOT). | so if you unplug and swap out the HU i can imagine you would loose some of the menu based stuff, like mpg, oil life etc. but do you also loose the ability to turn on comp mode n the traction control? |

That is why if the radio is replaced and not configured for a V (via Tech II) you can't enter one of the driving modes.
Ain't that a kick in the pants? |
