Stuck Clutch Bleeder Screw

Remove this ad
Hey guys,

Just went to get my clutch bled and the tech said the screw is in too tight and he doesn't want to try and torque it off because it is in a plastic sleeve and he doesn't want to break it. Do I have any options other then having the dealer try and flush it, break it, and replace it?

Re: Stuck Clutch Bleeder Screw

The clutch bleeder is not in a plastic sleeve. The whole thing is metal. But yeah if you are worried take it to the dealer and let them try it. If it breaks, make em buy it!

Re: Stuck Clutch Bleeder Screw

^^^^ That's right, it's all metal. I'd be careful that the dealer would just use the suck/fill/pump/repeat method.
