Re: Cts-v vs. ?

hope this helps.. i am a p#$$y when it comes to the drag strip. i dont want my diff to esplode and to be honest i am not very good at launching the V. this night sucked because i didnt know if you go faster then 14.00 then you have to have a helmet. so i was just "relaxing". but anyways this kid claimed he had all sorts of stuff done to his SS.. it was pretty fast

its funny cause i have done a few road course track days now and i would do that any day of the week. imo its way more fun and not nearly as hard on the diff. plus its what the car was designed for

Re: Cts-v vs. ?

I know me to, it sucks cuz we are flying out on saturday. I wanted to fly out friday so we could rip up the town!!! I caught the end when they were on the podium. They showed Stewart's pass, it looked like an awsome race. Hope to see that kind of action in Vegas!!!

Re: Cts-v vs. ?

My dealer will do one installed for under 1800. I've still got 4.8 years on my warranty though...

My friend's got a Legacy GT with a front mount, up and down pipe, exhuast, injectors, tune, light weight flywheel, etc. He thought it was going to be really close but I walked away from him three times in a row from a dig. He always pulled a little from the start, but then I out accelerated him easily. I've just got a maggie, tune, gutted cats, and no reasonator. I'm getting a 2.8 pulley put on Saturday and a retune. We'll see what it puts down.... BTW, I've been beating on these new Nitto Nt-05's and they're super sticky from a dig. They grip soooo much better than the stock eagle f1's. I'm not getting any wheelhop from medium 1-2 shifts now!
