Yeah, do you powdercoat or paint that? I would hate to paint it then have it chip and look like $h!t.

Re: Pics(Got the wheels on)

Looks good but if you black out the wheels then the grill has to be next. I think it looks funny as it stands out too much. I prefer the chrome grill with chrome wheels but JMO. The murdered out look is cool too! Complete that is.

Re: Pics(Got the wheels on)

ive been stock....all black.....chrome edges, black grill.....now back to stock.....My favorite was the all black, it just has to be done right so it looks good. I would def get the grill powdercoated, the edges can only be painted as they are plastic.

Re: Pics(Got the wheels on)

Yeah, I think the all black looks awsome, Just worried about that grill chipping. How hard is the bottom grill to pop out?

I second that question. I am going to be blacking out both grilles and felt like powdercoating would be great, but might be overkill, so I am going to paint them, but...I got a quote today from the shop that I use for all the work on my V and they want to charge me $550 to paint both grilles and the plastic chrome trim around the top grille. I am thinking...absolutely no way...I will just do it myself for $20.

I am just wondering if I could spray paint at least the bottom grille with it still in the car (and a lot of taping to keep the surrounding paint protected). I really don't want to have to try and take off the whole front bumper just to get at that bottom grille.
