I'm not sure if I want to get my a$$ kicked by a nurse in a Miata. |

However, if you want to have a lot of fun in a car, and get yourself hooked on spending lots of money to have even more fun in a car, then auto-x is a good way to start. The V is too heavy with too-narrow tires to really be competitive, but it is still fun and will teach you a lot about how the car behaves at the limit.

I wouldn't care if I came in dead last (which would absolutely be the most likely outcome).
Hey, Don, if you do this, make sure to take some pics of you doing it ... and of some nurses, too.

I ran it a few times last year on street tires after I broke my regular racecar and this year I'm actually prepping the car for the E Street Prepared class where I'll be up against the pony cars and WRXs. At the local level the V can be competitive but at national events it's just way too heavy. With that said I have signed up for the National Tour event in Cecil, GA in March to have some fun.
Try it out, you might have fun. |

If you are ever in the DC area you can run at our big track at FedEx stadium. We generally have about 260 cars run at each event. The F class national champion runs here so you can learn a lot from him. |
