I think the rims and tires are worth 600 bucks. You should totally sell them for that price to a local guy w/ ruined chrome stockers. If only there was someone local that would pay you that price... then you would be SET!

no racing for me. I just dont want the truck ride 20" rims give me. I would rather have the 18's. there is zero tire flex with a 30 sidewall. it's like driving on solid rocks. if anyone wants to buy them from me for enough for me to get some TD's from Luke than we can talk!

MauiV, you dont think that an all black rim might look ok since the bottom of the car is black? I just hate the 2 tone rim look. the chrome lip drives me nuts. Plus I HATE THE BEADLOCK LOOK. maybe if the beadloc wasnt there i could tolerate it. the 2 tone paint really looks good in person. I may think about getting rid of the red pinstrip. It's less than a 1/4" thick. What do you think?

I think if your going to get rid of the stripe go ahead and have them even out the dividing line to line it up with the slope of the car.

Personally I like lipped rims, even though the V doesnt lend itself to deep lips. If i had $4k to spend on not go fast parts I would have a set of HREs. I dont like the rivets but they are a necessary evil in a 3 piece rim.

some (most?) wheels like that come with an option to cover the rivets.. maybe get in touch with the manufacturer and see if you can cover them cheap/easily enough.

Well if you dont like the rivets and only want a 18in rim that is a three piece go with FIKSE racing wheels. They screw in the rivets in the back of the wheel and are rated as high as HRE anyday. Even tho I bought HRE's I still like the FIKSE look they just dont make anything bigger than a 18 and I wanted bigger.

I think ben's rims look tight, especially with the blacked out grille & chrome surround. Matches nicely with the wheels. It's not going to be everyone's taste, but it's definitely a good look. I personally like that better than the all-blacked out look that is so popular....
