Yeah, def get it fixed right - some of your other menus in the NAV won't be right if you don't get it flashed. (like it'll be expecting you to have the same wheel buttons as the regular CTS-V, so it'll offer you menu choices you don't even have....)

Re: My First Service with V, Mahwah Cadillac for Warranty/Maintenance Stuff

yea, I noticed I now have the option to program the buttons on the steering wheel. Im def not gonna try to do that knowing that menu was not there prior to the service.

Ive been driving the car for a couple weeks now and I took it in for a wash today. I noticed when the guy went to scrub the rear bumper it was still floppin around. I paid near $200 to have that repaired. I called up Cadillac and its going in on Monday for these two issues. So much for getting it done right the first time.

I also am getting whifs of oil and coolant. Is this normal? Im thinkin some oil may have spilled either when they did the oil change or just residual from the leak that had been repaired. I dont like smelling oil when im inside the car at idle...

Also FYI, I picked my car up on the 23rd yet I did not get my deposit back from Enterprise until the 28th. It messed up my banking pretty good as I was running lean in January. That would have been fine except I was told by the service writer that the monies would be refunded immediately. He also told me the diff would take two days to get in when it took two weeks...I should have known better.

So, the plan is to head in there very disgruntled. Im also going to demand the front rub strip be attended to without any cost to myself as Getting it done the second time was not what I paid for the first time around.

Out of curiosity, I tried to do that with mine. It didn't work. Have them reflash it so it's "100% V."

Re: My First Service with V, Mahwah Cadillac for Warranty/Maintenance Stuff

OK, the car goes back under the knife tommorrow. Ill be having them do the following:

Repair Rear bumper as per last work request

I have a coolant smell, check radiator

Reflash Nav with Tech 2

I would also like them to look at repairing that lower rub strip on the front bumper.

I will supposedly get a better loaner than the last time. Looking forward to that.
