CAI/Ported TB/ !cat x pipe borla muffers/ls7 clutch/125shot/TPSi LT/%25 UD pulley/3750 WO driver.

My 02 SS with ported T/b/LID/100shot/no muffler went 12.2@118 on street tires.
You might be disappointed. I think that you have the power but it won't happen on street tires. And I think nitrous is probably the best way to go fast in these cars at the track, much more so than blower or n/a. You don't have to over power the tires you can wait til your moving good to start making big power. If there was a decent rearend offering it would be more even.

And I would have believed peedeerooster if he didn't dance all around the time in his post. If someone asks you what the ET was. And you just keep saying "high 11s" and "peddling to upper 11s" instead of just saying the actual time, then I can't buy it. He may be honest, it just seems odd to me. Plus the cars that have ran in the 11s make the same or more power and have good tires and decent 60s. Were they to have spun like peedeerooster there MPH would have been higher but they wouldn't be in the 11s any more.

Are you saying that you made 420rwhp and ran 12.9@110? Or that you ran 12.9 on motor and made 420 on the gas.

People will disagree but in a straight line CTSVs don't run as good as F-bodys with similar or less mods. So if you went 12.2 in a Camaro with a 100 shot, I would expect about the same with a 125 on a CTSV.

I guess we will see when i run it i can launch the car decent enough [we race on prepped streets here 4k slips] just hope it wont break on a shift i pound them hard ive ran cars from a roll on the 100[Gas dry shot], i was pretty much dead even with an 06 i/ tune viper and i/exhaust ls3 6spd vette. [this is in the V]

the camaro made 334 on motor 420 on the gas.

Btw here is my V on motor vs my friends full bolt on Z 40-120 roll with some weight reduction went 12.3@115. Not bad? He was on his Nitrous tune [takes it back to stock timing loses like 5-7rwhp made 365 on the motor tune.

His pass for the non believers.

Re: Parts change for the good.

I just ran a 7.57 (1/8 mile) in my Trans Am. And while I haven't raced the two, I can say that it doesn't pull as hard as the V and would get beat from a roll against the V.

Re: Parts change for the good.

How is the drivability with this new cam? Any video of the sound of the cam? I have a Comp Cam 287XER (238 240 .605 .609 @112) that is going in the car in the spring time and was wondering if it was too much?
