Bluegrass Motor Park 1st layer of pavement is down and several folks have gotten to drive and or walk it to get a feel of the layout. 3200' straight and a huge cambered left hander seem to be what everyone is talking about most.
I CANT WAIT to have this less than an hour from my house. The location on I-71 between Cincy and Louisville will make this a nice central location for a large percentage of folks. |

I also have a 7250' piece and an 8000' piece and LOTS of other pieces that ate several thousand feet long.
I SOOOO want to get the V out there but it is most frowned upon. |

We ( www.MVPTrackTime.com) are talking to Bluegrass about an event in 2009, but it doesn't look promising. Brad Popel of Bluegrass is supposed to be getting back with me soon. It needs to work in between our season opener at Putnam Park (April 20th) and late season Mid-Ohio (October 17-18) track weekend.
Nice looking facility and their business model seems very solid so hopefully it will be around for a long while. They plan on adding sections of the full track facility year by year.

You probably aren't too far from Mid Ohio, one of America's greatest tracks. MVP will be there the weekend of October 17-18, 2009. I'll be celebrating my 17th wedding anniversary (10/17) at a race track without my wife. It's going to "cost me" big time.

Feff, looking forward to seeing you at Putnam and Autobahn next season. I should also be at Summit next time with no problems. How far is Mid-Ohio from Indianapolis? Any Idea?

(hint hint Ted, and people in the surrounding area!) | Last year (2007) at Mid Ohio, I ran with a Porsche club. It was great when I passed an orange 911RS. Since it was my first time running at Mid Ohio and first time with that club, they had an instructor in the CTS-V with me until he signed off for me to solo. So we pass the 911RS and the instructor giggles, saying "That guy really should be embarrassed!" One of my favorite moments in the V!

Here's MVP Track Time's full 2009 road course season, sans anything Lindsay Cadillac does with us for V-III day! April 18-19: Putnam Park ”Tax Freedom Track Weekend”
June 1: Autobahn Country Club (FULL 3.56 mile track)
August 3: Autobahn Country Club II (FULL 3.56 mile track)
September 5-6: Blackhawk Farms ”No Hurricane Rain Track Weekend”
September 7-8: Virginia International Raceway ”Labor Day Speed Fix”
October 17-18: Mid Ohio
September 28, 2009 - Summit Point (Main Course)
October 31 – November 1: Watkins Glen ”Halloween Fright FAST!”
November 21 – 22: Road Atlanta “Flyin Turkey Trot”
The wet weather of late tells me we are in for a long, cold, snowy Winter. When Spring arrives, I hope you’ll gear up for some much needed fresh air and join MVP Track Time at the track. Happy Motoring and I hope to see you at the track in 2009!

VIR is the best. I have yet to make it up to Watkins Glenn (kinda surprised it's still open that late in the season.)
Awesome lineup Feff.
