I think I'm basically dead center to most of those tracks. |

We did a lot of research on weather and called a fair number of friends who live in the area around The Glen to make sure we wouldn't get snowed on. Historically it's cool, but suprisingly very little precipitation that time of year.
Hope to see a whole bunch of V on the track in 2009!

Feff | Yeah, they run Lime Rock up to the first of November as well. You usually don't see snow up here at that time of year that often, although it can happen. It's more the cold weather that gets you. Bring your gloves...

The wet weather of late tells me we are in for a long, cold, snowy Winter. When Spring arrives, I hope you’ll gear up for some much needed fresh air and join MVP Track Time at the track. Happy Motoring and I hope to see you at the track in 2009!

The more V we have at a track day, the better. Keeps the other "Sports Sedan" drivers egos in check. Happy Motoring and I'll see you at the track.

They still have to do the top coat and let it cure a bit or it will be coming up in chunks as its driven over. I just hope they can survive 2009 with no revenue!

Feff | I heard they were waiting for permit or something. If the track isn't ready there's little hope they will be open this year I'm guessing. |

Even if they get the paving done, that paving REALLY needs to cure.
Autobahn Country Club let their pavement cure nearly six months and areas still broke up in hard breaking areas. so much so they used a polymer based asphalt in the heavy braking zones to prevent further problems. Worked out fine. Quote:

There was one between Chicago and Indy that was supposed to be four separate tracks that could be connected to form one 6+ mile road course. They keep telling everyone ground breaking is soon, but nothing ever happens.
