You might get a hair more with the trick flows. Only you can decide if 10 hp is worth and extra $1500.

The main thing to remember about the L92 heads is that they are very sensitive to cam selection. You have to pair them with the right cam, if not you get a dog.

C'mon now.

Just keep your doors locked at gas stations and you'll be fine.

BTW, I'm down in Encinitas visiting my gf all the time. What part of SD are you in?

Re: My Quest to 500 HP, the right way...

To be honest it all goes back to what we all have been talkin about in the past....

If you want to do something right the first time do the WHOLE package and not just some of it...

Its just where you want to start form and where you want to end...

My honest opinion...Either way if you have a LS6/2

Start from the crank and work up...If you dont want to spend too much atleast put in some nice Bearins, ARP bolts and Forged Pistons. Then slap on any heads you want with just about any duration you find adequet. They are forged so Knock will be more accepted then stock, and hopefully you will have valve pockets so you may run the KATECH spec II. ITS AWESOME, i cant run it on my stock block due to the fact that its stock pistons. My compression is 11.59:1 but on 100+ octane...so i am in the clear.

If you go cheap you will always run into problems, arguin this will only get you SHOT...But not everything expensive is always the best...TRY me on this, i have proven this...

But please change your pistons, bearins and slap on any heads you want and drive with confidence...

Go for the L92 with the Spec II and specil order the Weiand 5001 intake...You will see your 500 and no one will be the wiser...
