So I'm looking at Mallett's price guide on the different wheels they offer and I really would like a set of forged polished in 18x9.5 and 18x11 3-pc, but $4,200!!!! That's almost double what standard HRE polished wheels are. My question is this. Is HRE making this wheel specifically for Mallet and the CTSV or is it a HRE stocked wheel? I went to there website and couldn't find a wheel similar to the Mallett. I know Cadillac is going to offer a wheel almost identical to the Mallett wheel (polished), but I imagine it we'll be a 18x8.5 all the way around. I would prefer a little more beef out back if possible on a wider wheel. For $4200.00 I think I would rather have my factory wheels chromed for about $1200.00. Any opinions????
I spent a boat load on my HRE's for my other car. Ordered 540rs in 19' backs are 11' and fronts are 9' (i think). Wheels, tires, center caps, totalled about 8k or so. HREs are great wheels but just damn expensive.
I have wanted to get them for my esv, but i cant bring myself to drop 7k for them.
These price are a little high. My brother got 4 z06 rims yesterday with goodyear ties 295 18 inches for $2,200 shipped, with bolts and center caps. The rims are polished, very nice. I could never pay twice the price, sorry
Well, found out today what dealer cost is on the 18's that Mallett is selling. Let's just say that the dealers aren't going to be making enough money on what Mallett is charging for any of there upgrades to make it worth while to push there product. An example, the 16,500 upgrade package cost the dealer 14,999.00. If I were a dealer, I don't think it would be worth the hassle to make $1,500.00. Oh well, guess I'll wait for the Cady wheels.
I want wheels now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My factory wheels are already getting scratches and nicks on them. I'm seriously considering sending them to get chromed. Anybody know of a very reputable company that will chrome our factory wheels?????
