If it does not work type it on, this is the only way I know of to play movies, but nothing else works while it is playing and once stopped you have to stop car and follow procedure again to start one again. |

With car on and the parking brake on, put movie in and DONT MOVE until the movie has started. Once you hit those buttons (and see the flicker) you should be good to go. I did mine on the way back from North CArolina and it worked awesome. I could control the volume though, don't know why you wouldn't.
If you stop and put the brake on, it will disengage though! |

If you want to kill yourself, fine, but don't take me (or anyone else) with you. How are you going to guarantee that this won't happen? You can't. Playing movies on the driver's console while driving is a bad idea. If your passengers have to watch movies while traveling, buy an inexpensive DVD player for them and plug it into the 12V power outlet. |

Any of you ever think that music videos can be played? They are great to have in lieu of any regular music or movie while driving. Watching eye candy while at a stop light is a good thing.
I also doubt I will die, our cars are pretty safe with all the airbags and such. |

I'm not suggesting looking at the screen the entire time you're driving. But if it's a movie you've seen before, and you are listening to it, you pretty much picture it in your mind whats happening. Regardless, it makes trips go SO MUCH faster even just listening and occasionally glancing at the screen.
