Conversation with my roommate last week:

Roommate: You ready to go?
Me: Yeah, just have to look up the address on Google.
Dude, you have NAV.
It doesn't work too well.

Roommate then proceeded to type in the address before we set off and the NAV eventually got us lost (taking unnecessary turns, telling us to turn down 1-way streets). He now understands my frustration.

And the manual isn't that big of a help either...It took me about an hour to figure out how to delete the old owners home address and saved trips...

I put an AVIC-N4 in Mr. Vette and it makes the nav system in the Cad look sick (which isn't that hard to do).

That is why I still carry a Thomas guide in the Cad.

I install avionics, and long range nav systems in business jets that are way easier to program than the V navigation.
