Yes, if they are going to do the whole thing under warranty, let em. If not, let them do the seal, get it back, and replace the fluid yourself. It's VERY easy and takes 30 min tops.

The only thing I would add, is buy a 10mm allen head attachment that you can put on a socket wrench. I couldnt get the regular allen wrench in there (but I have a B&B exhaust)

Yes that is correct 1-1/2 quarts, does not take too much. Once full you should be able to put your finger in the fill hole and touch the fluid right below the lip. Again, do not forget to add the limited slip additive.

Re: Read Diff Flush - Dealer Cost = $132.00

I got MY FLAME SUIT ON SO ITS ALL GOOD.

I always have my rear diff maintained by the delear, that way they have it recorded that I have been performing all necc services for it. After all i'm on my 3rd diff and god knows how many times they have changed the seal and different parts of it for free.
Oil changes, topping off fluids cleaning my t/b and air filter handle all myslef.

Ok well I took it into the dealer...they won't warranty the diff change nor will they work out a price deal. They are replacing a rear seal under a recall but said they will only top off the diff fluid. Frankly I don't think they have done a V before. They were not sure what to charge at first...then decided it was the same class/price as a "Truck". F'em...I'll do it myself.
