Looks like a busy weekend. The V comes last after my wifes car and moms truck. Happy Mothers Day.

Re: Griot's Order arrived

LOL, I need some more speed shine, you've got two bottles....hooka brother UP

BTW, I'd look at something other than the best of show wax. I rather blow my brains out than wax 3 cars in 1 weekened with that stuff. It is a PITA to get off the car.

Re: Griot's Order arrived

I would rather do this than the mile long honey due list I have. I wanted a large lot when we got the house. I really screwed myself with 11k sq feet. Oh well I get to cover 1,500 of it next summer with my shop and new driveway.

Re: Griot's Order arrived

That looks like one of my recent shipments from Griot's. I love the rubber cleaner and tire brush. The vinyl dressing is good stuff, too. Enjoy!

11k sq feet is only about a 1/4 acre...

And doesn't the V always come first ?

Re: Griot's Order arrived

I just received my first big shipment as well...actually I wasn't very impressed with the Interior Cleaner and also the Wheel Cleaner. I won't be ordering those again.

Um...the Wheel Cleaner is just about the best thing there is. Really.

I had absolutely no problems cleaning off my black rims back to silver at the track. I don't know what you're using but it's not Griot's...

Re: Griot's Order arrived

So is the griots random orbital polisher worth the $130 . . . I saw one at costco for like $20! Just wondering if anyone knows offhand what the real differences are and how worthwhile it is. I have been thinking about picking one up to do this right myself but hate to spend as much or more on tools and supplies than I would to just have a professional do it for me

Typical orbitals can burn through the paint. The Porter Cable models Griot's uses are the ones you want. Griot's used to be very expensive and I got 2 elsewhere. But now, $130 is not much more than at other retailers...

I have not used it yet but the build quality is very nice. A buddy of mine picked up a $30 one from Harbor Freight. Total piece of garbage.
