Is the extended worth it from you CTS V owners?
If i need to find another way to get it, who do you recommend?

If you buy outside a Caddy dealer you're on your own with an aftermarket company and they are $$$$. |

All I had to do was complain to GM that almost every component in my powertrain has been replaced at least once and they owe me a warranty extension. If you are persistant and can get your dealer to side with you it will work. |

THX,
Jason | I paid an even $1000 for a GMPP to extend my warranty 3 years and 24,000 miles on my 2004 ($50 deductable). It will be interesting to see if I get my money's worth out of it. |

So far they've taken care of business (about $1,700 in bushings and motor mounts several months ago), but they always send an "inspector" to look over the dealer recommendations before approving the repairs adding 1-2 days to the work. Seems at a certain $$$ amount an inspector is mandatory. Yesterday the warranty, according to the Caddy dealer, approved two new front shocks and two new wheel bearing/hubs. Parts alone are around $1,100.

I'm planning on making a check list for the problems with my new car I just bought. I'm still trying to figure out what all they cover under the warranty. |

I can also fax you the list of what mine covers. It's better then the one I looked at from GM and several other sources.
