You can just drop the propshaft down, I take the exhaust off for room to work.
I don't think there is enough room to do it with the exhaust on.
The diff can sit right where it is you just have to get to it.

I'd recommend having this done, there are a couple of special tools you'd need. It can be done without them but it is a more reliable repair if done properly with the tools. Of course I'd be lying if I said everyone who does it uses the tools. The most important one to me is the seal installer. The rest you can use generic substitutes for.

Would you recommend I buy the recall kit or just the seal?

I don't think you can even get the original design seal anymore.
They updated parts inventory to make sure you get the new seal and the yoke, the old style is not compatible with the new seal, it has to be installed as a kit.

Re: Installing new front differential bushing

Re-opening an oldie! What is the tool used for the bushing removal/install? I have access to a "pitman arm puller" which may or may not work - anyone familiar with both? Also is there a step-by-step for this(preferably with pics so an idiot like me can change out for the Revshift front diff bushing)?
    Any help would be bueno!
    Thanks guys!

I Used a hack-saw. Get the rubber out of there and then carefully cut the metal ring and bend it in on itself.

Thanks @Sevillian. I just saw a youtube video to that affect... So the puller is for the sleave. My Revshift doesnt come with a sleave, it doesn't require one?
